Lydia Claudson, MSW
Lydia Claudson
I am a dedicated therapist with several years of experience working in social welfare. I am excited to help individuals and families successfully navigate daily challenges and achieve personal growth. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walla Walla University and an associate license with the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
My approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT), accelerated resolution therapy (ART), Gottman family therapy, and others. I believe in creating a safe and productive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. I work with individuals, families, and couples and have experience treating an array of challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, and others.
I am committed to continued professional development and participate regularly in training and supervision to stay current on the latest therapeutic strategies.
In my personal time, I enjoy lifting weights, playing pickleball, hiking, and making music. These help me to achieve a better-balanced life and to connect with clients on a personal level. You may also find me in the company of my Goldendoodle, Clementine, who often joins me for client sessions. I am committed to the Christian faith and am happy to have religious and spiritual conversations with those looking for faith-based guidance.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey of healing
